Sam's Story

I've constantly been belittled and abused for the last 10 years of my life by the two relationships I've been in. Tonight I finally called the police and ended it all. This is my home and me and my children haven't felt safe for a long time.

My depression and anxiety have skyrocketed in the last 5 years, and I haven't been able to get past a lot of my issues.

I've finally worked through some only to be brought down again and again by my now ex. I found this website and I read through a story that made me think I didn't have to put up with any of the bad that was forcing itself upon me and I could finally work for something better.

Thank you for bringing light to my life …. now I hope I can move on and up.
